Content: A little playful ficlet in which Hotaru gets injured and stubbornly refuses Sephiroth to "rescue her." In the end, he carries her off not into the sunset, but into the hospital wing. ^_~

This was great! Just what I needed to wake up to. ^^ I love how you drive home both the notion that Hotaru isn't some shrinking violet who needs a man to help her... but on the other hand, does on occasion need a LITTLE help, and isn't above enjoying it when her "saviour" is a tall muscled silver-haired god. ;-)

I had two favorite parts:

1) The conversation between them after Hotaru sprains her ankle. "Why do you insist on poking at my humiliation?" is such a classic line. XD

2) The last exchange between them at the end, both pretending to read but in reality eyeing each other... and the way they both smile at the end is so cute. AWWWWW. I have this image of them both burying their noses in their respective books to hide the giant goofy grins on their faces. ^_^ So cute.

Once again, lovely work. I'm gonna miss your fics while I'm in Egypt. ;_;

EDIT: PSST. I are make a fanfic. ;-) Check bunnycurry. Not smut and not much Seph/Hotaru unfortunately, but I'm hoping it makes up for it with character development. >.>
