that's really sad... Seems inevitable at ANY con, though, unfortunately. No matter if there are garbage cans nearby or not, people'll just toss their junk anywhere. :/ People are lazy. I can see a little spillover, NEAR a trash can, if the can's overflowing and whatever janitorial service the place has hasn't gotten to it yet, but... REALLY. Come on, people. It's not that hard to hold onto it 'till you find a garbage can. -___-
Aside from that, I really hope you had a lotta fun at the Con! :D Where is Otafest, exactly? o.o
Ah, awesome! Too bad I didn't know about this earlier. XD *lol* Ah well, maybe next year. Will have to see what Cons are running, and if I can get extra time off for them, or... whatever. XD (a lot can happen in a year)
Yeah....that's gotta suck. I would imagine it would be the University's janitorial service that has to pick up all that shit, but geez, seriously people! They need to clean up after themselves.
(Did I tell you about the huge empty pizza box that was left on the table at Mac Hall?)
FFFFFFFFFFF. Frustrating. When I make efforts to preserve my environment and I see this, it really makes me sad and angry. I don't understand why it seems so difficult to throw everything in the garbage can D: It's like this everywhere. Even in my college you can find all sorts of things around. Even some of my friends did that beside me, because "they don't care about environment" as they said to me. And then I would take their garbage myself and put it away in the right place. [...] That's digusting really. Anyway, I hope you had a good "Otafest" ^^

Otafest was right here in Calgary. XD Apparently we had an influx of BC residents that came because Anime Evolution wasn't happening this year.

I feel sorry for whoever ended up having to pick up all that stuff, though. That would suck. :[
