Angela is not one to let a grounding get in the way of things. It's early on Friday morning when she passes by Elias's locker and shoves an envelope into it.
The note is read and tucked away carefully where it won't be found.
During his study period, he writes a response and slips it into Angela's locker. He's a little more obvious about it, but then he's not very good at stealth.
Dear Angela --
Oh man, GOOD LUCK on your test! I'm sure you'll do fine, but I'll think of you anyway.
They're still pretty mad and dad keeps looking at me and shaking his head. You'd think I killed somebody, the way they're acting. Maybe next time, I'll do something terrible just to show them that it could be worse.
