I'm good with either a republic like mentioned above, or maybe a federal republic? It would possibly offer more self government then a plain republic, as it is possible that Hima-san may either not want to do much as the head of the country or even be the head. Also, are we discussing economic system now or later?

Yes, that would be good as well. Like you said above if himaruya decides not to be the head then we have to consider. Who would lead us?

Let's say we pick monarchy but if Hima-papa says no. Then, I wonder if we'll change the gov't or we'll keep it the same.

Yes - only difference is that she suggested monarchy and I suggested republic.

I think only difference is that in one case we would call Himaruya "king" in other "president" but in both cases we would gave some government that would have real power and Hima-san wouldn't have to do anything since he would be just former head of our country.

I agree with your points about Himaruya. Also, I don't think it's fair to even assume that he'd want to be head/involved at all. It would probably be best to ask before potentially assigning him a role. I think your idea for the government is a very nice one.
