Congratulations on finishing your submissions! That must be a huge load off your chest. Are you going to put them up on dev art?

Unfortunately my traditional media pieces (charcoal) have no photograph of them so they basically don't exist until the show, but as for my digital work I've uploaded one of them already (the stamp collection). All that's left is my surrealism piece and my movie poster. I'll also probably submit my digital collage for Charles Dickens as well, even thought I did not send it in for the show.

Yes, it is a huge weight off my chest. I had dealt with stress in this line of work before, but I have not truly felt it as I did in high school until this week (somehow it always revolves around portfolio time). Partially the stress came from my own undoing (some may ruefully call it perfectionism.. I prefer to call it me wanting my work to some out like I want it). For example it should be known that the worse enemy of glossy paper is glue, specifically in this case 'rubber cement'. I was careful not to get a dot on any of my printed pieces, but alas somehow the little buggers(as in you have glue on your fingers and rub it off it comes off in ( ... )

Blurg on the sticky situation you found yourself in. (Ba Da Bum)! LOL

I do hope it won't affect your portfolio's overall presentation. I'm not so much a perfectionist. I do tend to edit and edit when I *do* catch mistakes.

Same here.. at least the show is only for... show. It's not like it was required anyways. The big important show will be my last quarter of college, which is still a few years off.

Heehe. Ah the curse we both share: tweaking.
