I don't know why Team Hawk isn't more popular. A lot of writers seem to completely ignore them when they decide to drag Sasuke back to Konoha. I actually like them, Suigetsu and Karin are comic relief and Juugo is like a devoted hippie with the occasional rage-out. They add some balance and humanity to Sasuke, they may have unintentionally saved him from his self-enforced isolation and then his madness.
So I like the inclusion of him in this verse.
Though Orochimaru being the resident perv never gets old. Seriously, the guy is such a creeper bastard, whatever the universe.
I agree with Sasuke being too emotional, it seems to come with being Uchiha, which would make their supposed emotionless stoicism understandable. He's easier for me to relate to than Naruto.
