I have an idea for a political program (that isn't really original). The basis would be that it didn't actually have a political affiliation or bias, and would only present facts, not public opinions or personal beliefs, and use only non-biased researchers to present each topic to the public.

Elaine, I am with you! Sounds great. The news has become totally biased... I haven't found any that isn't.. Maybe it is just human nature?

AND you are right about TV! When I was working towards my anthropology degree, we would watch somehting on the history channel.. or even discovery channel.. about tombs or cultures or whatever... and THEY ALWAYS got some big things wrong, or gave them a slant... to make it more interesting.. bc.. shock of shocks... even the educational programming is there to make money for the advertisers!!! UGH!

BUT, I never did find Noam Chomsky on a cable program.. other than a brief interview type scenerio. His Speeches were so dull that, while he is a "God" in the linguistics world, 98% of my linguistics class would fall asleep watching a lecture! And we were all majors and grad students!! LOL
