I consider myself good at taking hits to my Takarazuka-loving self in stride. Sometimes I get ticked when a beloved musumeyaku is pushed aside, but mostly I know how to ignore it.

Like two years ago, my best friend and I decided we could each pick a DVD to inflict upon the other. I picked a Takarazuka revue (I'm pretty sure it was Fancy Dance); she picked one of the several Bleach musicals.
The Bleach musical was awful. Like, way past campy, straight into "I'm not quite sure what you're doing here" kind of awful.
Oddly this does not dissuade me from looking forward to the idea of Mihoko in a trainwreck musical. ^_^;
