It's finally official!   I will be attending Hiroshima Jogakuin University for the 2013-2014 academic year!  I just got my acceptance letter.  I can't believe it.  I am so excited!  The more I hear about the university, the more amazing it seems.  I am so lucky to have this opportunity

Congratulations!! I'm really happy for you! You're going to have the time of your life! Hiroshima is such a beautiful city. =) It's hard leaving people behind, but that's what Skype is for, right? がんばってね！

I'm very happy being placed in Hiroshima. It really does look beautiful. I have so much to look forward to.

Leaving people behind--even if only temporary--is hard. The student who went to Hiroshima Jogakuin last year also had a boyfriend of two years when she left, and they're still dating. I spoke to her about it, which was comforting. She's been a wonderful mentor so far. I'm lucky to have her as such.
