WOW. First day of college classes.
It started innocently enough. My Italian Renaissance lecture looks pretty tame, despite the 7 books required...but it's mostly actual works of Petrarch, Machiavelli, etc. rather than actual textbooks. The teacher is from Italy. Made a friend (hopefully) named Kiran, a soph.
Then an hour break. Then it got scary.
My US History class is off the wall. The professor talked so fast, and talked about the 3 papers and assignments we were to complete and how they were worth SO FRIGGIN MUCH of our grade...scary bitch. I am so scared of that class. But I made a friend there, too --Amy, who lives in Northwest (the complex next to mine, North).
From there, I went to my Gen. Psychology class, and the professor has been teaching for 65 billion years and is British. And the class is GINORMOUS...there is a whole building dedicated to this lecture hall! Looks like hard work, and i've already got reading to worry about, but it looks pretty interesting. Also made a friend there.
Now here comes the awesome part. This girl's name is Michelle, and she's also majoring in Elementary Education and is thinking of transferring. She's the oldest child in her family, and also has a younger brother who is a sophomore in high school named Michael. Named for her dad, just like I was, and she's also Italian! And if that wasn't weird coincidence enough, she has a former boyfriend named Justin.
That's when we were both like WHOA. DUDE.
COOL! lol
