Um, I kind of love this. Especially this part:

"People, like all animals, are sexual creatures who crave physical intimacy--"

"You're saying I should be an animal?"

"I'm saying you should join humanity."

"Well, that's not overly dramatic."

Which makes me feel a little contrarian, because I don't think Liz isn't part of humanity. But I love the wordplay.

Is there going to be a sequel? *crosses fingers*

Thank you! And I definitely think Liz is still part of humanity, despite her relationship with sex, for what it's worth. I don't endorse much of what Jack says currently, even in my fic.

I might do more with this. We shall see!

Well, it makes ME happy, because they are being BFFs and Jack is attempting to improve Liz's sex life - it's like old times in here!

I also like how they're both a little uncomfortable about the other having sex. Heee.

It's the least depressing thing I've written about the finale, that's for sure. I liked writing Jack and Liz dialogue without this undercurrent of 'their friendship is in a bad place!' (Maybe writing that "Jack ends up alone" fic really has gotten out the last bit of my angst, for the time being.) I miss them being all bantery.

All of Liz's boyfriends have had something "wrong" with them, and I love that Carol's thing is that he wants to have sex "all the time," hahaha!

Yeah, I liked that Jack and Liz were friends in this one. Even though he did insult her, it was more in a "trying to improve her life" kind of way, which is better than it's been lately.

I enjoyed writing Jack and Liz post-finale without an undercurrent of 'their friendship is doomed!' I miss the time when his insults weren't so constant and came in between times when he actually listened to her; hopefully they'll be more like that in the next season. (But I'm not getting my hopes up; otherwise, the show will probably crush them.)

Honestly, I just feel really disengaged from it now. Like, I'm not even expecting anything good or bad. Maybe I'll feel less apathetic when the season starts.
