The weirdest part of the night was when she saw Jenna hitting on Donald Rumsfeld. (It's also in the running for weirdest moment of her life, but it has strong competition.) The best part of the night was... the rest of it, actually, though she's still a little freaked out about having a huge wedding that Donald Rumsfeld was at. But it was this... big romantic spectacle that Jenna claimed every woman wanted. And that Liz apparently wanted on some level, because she danced with Jack for hours and didn't even care that her feet were killing her.

Man. That's love.

Liz sits down on the bed, kicks off her shoes. "I can't believe I'm married."

Jack nods slightly. "Neither can I."

"Are you really insulting your bride on your wedding night? Might not be wise."

"I'm not insulting you." He says it in his 'that's the end of that discussion' tone but, after he leans in and kisses her, he keeps talking. "What I mean is that I didn't think we'd end up here." He gets on his knees in front of her, starts to push up her dress. "Not too long ago, you were just my strange new employee; I was a man you wanted to punch in the face."

"I never said I wanted to punch you."

Jack slides it up higher, kisses her thigh. "I thought you wanted to."

"Yeah, but. I never said it." She joins him in moving her dress above her hips, but he's the one who slips her underwear down her legs. "Most I want to do now is smack you." She reclines. "Lightly."

He pulls her to the edge of the bed, throws her leg over his shoulder. "If you'd like, we can do that after."

That's not what she meant, but she can tell him that later. They have time.
