Ohhhh. . .I am so INTRIGUED. I adore stories where characters discover hidden family ties! The fact that it's Peter and Neal will just be even more fun to see play out. *sits back and waits for more*
Nice, I like this! Though can I utter a little bit of medical criticism? (Sorry, it's kind of a pet peeve of mine.)
A hospital should have enough 0 neg blood in stock. It's the universal donor blood that they give everyone whose blood type they don't know, and it'd be unusual if they needed for Peter to give them more of it. I don't think that would happen unless there was an 0 neg shortage for some reason (which would be a very critical thing to happen in a hospital that has an ER).
That said, I understand why you wrote it that way. It's a very sweet gesture to have Peter give blood for Neal. And I'm sure there's a way to make it more believable. I don't know without further research what blood type Neal would need to have in order to not be able to receive 0 neg, but maybe Google could help. You know, if you wanted to amend your story. :o)

You can't leave me hanging! I wonder what Neal's reaction to the whole thing will be. :3
