So we haven't had a fic about Michael and Jan since September 9th!!!! And guess who wrote it? I DID! Lol. Well here's just a short fic I wrote. The backstory on this piece is that I actually wrote this for a paper for my English class. We were supposed to write a descriptive essay and I chose to write about Jan and the people she lost in her life.

Awww...you're welcome a bunch! :) Lol...I wish people would write more fics! Just because Jan, is well...JAN, doesn't mean we can't write about her back when she was this BEAUTIFULLY flawed character. Now she's just an ugly flawed memory since she's not on anymore, you know? Anyway, I'm happy you liked this! :)

It's so wonderfully descriptive! I'm so glad you got the fic-writing going again!

2 Questions--
1. When is this taking place? Is this after they break up after Dinner Party or when they broke up the first time?
2. You wrote that Jan was "praying for the worst and hoping for the best" when she sees Richard's note. I think it's interesting that she would be praying for the worst while still hoping for the best. Is that what you mean or do you mean "preparing for the worst"? Either way is cool, I'm just curious.

Thanks Shoshana for your nice comment! To answer your questions 1-I never thought about when it took place. I was just completely making it up. and 2-After I turned the paper in and read it again, I saw that little error. I DID mean for it say 'preparing for the worst' I hope the instructor doesn't think anything of it. Like I mentioned in the beginning, I sort of had to rush it towards the end because of time. Lol...anyways, thanks again. I appreciate it!

I had a feeling you meant "preparing for the worst" but then I thought it was interesting if she was in fact praying for the worst. Like, deep down she just wanted it to be over with Richard, and Richard leaving her was the easiest way.

Right, it wasn't a specific time she broke up with him. I just thought since I was writing it for a paper, that it doesn't really matter. I guess I was thinking, if you really wanted to get the feel of when it was taken place, then it would be after the money episode when we find out that Jan has a bad relationship with her family.

Lol..shoot, I should have made it seem like I WANTED it to be 'praying for the worst', because now that you mention that, that actually makes sense and seems like something Jan would want, deep down. Thanks again! :)
