I think a lot of people who used to blog/journal a lot have had their creative energies drained off into Twitter, which is unfortunate. You just can't do long-form thought/travelogues piece on Twitter; the medium isn't intended for that.

Anyway, thanks for your Worldcon report. In some ways, it doesn't sound like Worldcons have progressed very much since 1983, which was the last one I attended - or since 1974, for that matter. But then, I'm a pretty cynical guy.
