Burning hot chilli flavour masked in an apple green. What is wrong with the people at Bertie Botts? And as for Stephen giving me this box of Every Flavour Beans as a belated birthday present, very imaginative mate. In a weird way, these things are actually quite addictive. I should send a box to Andrew, as a "welcome back to ENGLAND" present. He's ( Read more... )

That sounds like a repulsive flavor.

Uhm. How are you, Michael?

It is. I almost cried.

Studying. Training. The usual. You? We haven't talked in a while.

I have an audition on Monday...

We should, uh. We should hang out or something at some point.

Good luck with it.

Sure. It'd be good to spend some time with you catching up. I don't think we really got a chance to do that over the summer. That trip to Fortescue's really doesn't count.

Mic-Mic! (I'm reliving your nickname I gave you in 2nd year) Long time no talk.
Sooo...ready for the quidditch season?

Hey, Meg-Meg. You know me, I'm always prepared.

Always expect that from a Ravenclaw like yourself...but thats good! I'm pretty psyched myself.
Guess who you might see on the field though?

Naturally. From what I remember, you were pretty good.

I'm crap at guessing. Who?

How has school been going for you? I was at Hogwarts last night and I really wanted to see you.

Good. Apart from the atmosphere. Just getting into the routine again. How are you?

I never asked, but were you able to get into the classes you wanted/needed to get into? I hope the routine has some spaces in it for some free time. I expect some owls from you every now and then! Tell the rest of the Ravenclaw house that as well. I was talking to Mandy earlier and told her to pull you away from your studies if she ever needed help with Quidditch. She said she'd poke you in the eye with her wand, if she had to. I like that girl...she has spunk.

Things are going well here. It's a little lonely, knowing that there's no one to get together with anymore. But, Katie Bell has such signed on to train as an Auror, and we were lucky enough to have Tonks as our trainer! I wish I could share some of the things we've been doing, but I think I'd get in a lot of trouble over it. Oh well. Maybe I'll risk it another entry.

Keep up with those studies, but don't go crazy over them. It's your last year at Hogwarts, so enjoy it!

Yeah, I did. I thought I might not get into Transfiguration this year because I focused far too much on History and Charms last year, but I'm glad I did. I'll have to balance my time out a bit more and not get carried away.

How does she expect me to help her if she pokes me in the eye? That's just cruel.

I'm glad you've got someone to train with. That's great news about Katie. I always wonder what people actually do when they leave Hogwarts.

But I actually enjoy the reading and the essays. I know you think that's weird, but I like the challenge.

Chili? They make chili Bertie Bott's beans now? Remind me never to eat those ever again. I hope you're all right after that one.

No one's been talking much lately, but Quidditch is coming up! Maybe that'll help break the ice. Do you know who the Ravenclaw captain is? I haven't heard anything about it yet, and I'm beginning to wonder...

Maybe it's you. Are you hiding something from us, Michael?

I almost choked, but I survived. Seriously. I'd take liver flavour after tasting that one.

I certainly hope so. Might give everyone a focus other than NEWTs and the war.

I'm still waiting for Flitwick to announce who's going to be captain. You'd all hate me if I was captain.

Ugh, liver? It was so bad that you would take liver over it? My delicate palate is recoiling at the very thought.

Quidditch loosens everyone up! Except maybe now with those extenuating circumstances. But I hope we don't get too distracted from NEWTs. Loosening up won't do us any good if we fail all our tests and then can't get a job. Then we'd end up being hobos. Happy hobos, but hobos nonetheless.

We would hate you as captain? Why?

Trust me. Anything liver flavoured would usually have me heaving but if I was forced to choose, I'd go for liver over that horrendous chilli thing I tasted. I can handle chilli and I love hot food (Andrew's always getting Indian food when I'm at home) but clearly, the Bertie Botts people have no idea how to tone it down a bit. It was like biting into a raw chilli ( ... )
