Shaking It

I went up to shake it records today, and bought 4. seriously i love it, the whole act of taking one out of a huge sleeve, which is covered in a foot of album art, then placing it on the platter then just listening for the sake of listening [though accessible enough to do homework with ( Read more... )

my sisters friend, who is pretty big in the cincinnati art scene and an art professor at UC told me "Jimmy Baker is a huge cocky prick."

listening to recording on vinyl feels so much more personal. i love nothing more than to open all of my windows in the spring time and listen to the velvet underground & nico records.

also there is this neat record store right by my house (its actually the record store from the movie "high fidelity" with john cusack, although it looks nothing like that anymore.) cheap records and good finds if you take the time to look through the used bins.
