Summary: Park Yoochun was forced into the business world when he was only interested in music; he was forced into a loveless marriage when he already had the love of his life. Yoochun did not expect to take a liking to his spouse...but even more, he did not expect to uncover the truth that may forever take away his chances of a happily-ever-after.

Quote: "The keyword...is the word between 'I' and 'You'."

“Please,” Junsu pleaded, his eyes beginning to moist. The fist on his stomach was beginning to loosen because he felt so weak. “Tell me you hate me, once more. I deserve it.”
“No! You don’t!” Yoochun could feel his own tears flow again.

“I do,” Junsu whispered in a hoarse voice. “I do. I need…I need to know that you hate me. I’m…I’m already…going to die…and…and leave behind my best friend…my father…my brother…and my sister-in-law. I’ve never even had a nice family gathering with them.”

“You’re not going to die!”

Junsu acted like he didn’t hear. “I need to know…that you…you hate me. One…one less person that I’ll be leaving behind. I can’t…I can’t bare to know that I’m dying…and leaving…and leaving you forever. It won’t…it won’t hurt as much if I leave knowing…that you hate me. It’ll be easier for me to hate you…if you told me…that you hate me. Please tell me. Please.”

Yoochun shook his head frantically. “No, I’ve lied to you too much already. I won’t lie to you anymore. I don’t hate you. The keyword between ‘I’ and ‘you’ isn’t ‘hate’. It’s ‘love’! ‘Love’! I love you!”

Junsu wanted to smile, finally able to hear those words. Yet it saddened him at the same time. Why so late?

Tears flowed even more as he murmured, “I hate you.”

Yoochun stood before the grave. There was no picture. Just a name.

Yunho had to pull Yoochun down onto the bench and wrap his arms around the younger man to keep Yoochun from pacing back and forth like a mad man.

Jaejoong had driven to the airport to pick up Mr. Kim, Hankyung, and Ri In. Changmin and Kibum at together on the other end of the bench.

Kibum raised his head so that his lips were only an inch from Changmin’s ears. “He…he told me about the baby. He told me to help you keep it a secret. He said that you’d promise him to not tell anyone and that it would hurt you very much after his death. He asked me to help you get past the guilt.”

Changmin’s head lowered slightly as Kibum’s voice trembled. “He won’t die. He won’t,” he whispered back.

“He told me that you love me. He wants us to be together again. He’s a good person. He doesn’t deserve this.”

Changmin wrapped his arms around Kibum’s shaking body and rested his chin on the shorter man’s head. “He won’t die. He won’t.”

Kibum hid his face in Changmin’s chest, praying to the Heavens for Junsu’s life, the baby’s life. Changmin turned his head slightly to look over at the other end of the bench, hoping Yoochun and Yunho had not heard their conversation. They hadn’t.

Yoochun had collapsed into Yunho’s arms, eyes blood-shot red and lips mumbling incoherently. Yunho hugged Yoochun, like an older brother would do for a younger brother.

After hours of waiting, the ER lights finally turned off. The doctor walked out.

Yoochun rudely pushed out of Yunho’s arms, but Yunho understood too much to be angry at him. The four men surrounded the doctor.

“I’m his spouse. How is he?” Yoochun’s voice was unsteady.

“I’m sorry, we tried our best,” the doctor sighed tiredly. It was a tedious surgery.

Yoochun’s legs gave up and Yunho had to hold him up. He lost his voice and it hurt too much to even cry.

The doctor was about to say more, but before he could, Changmin grabbed the front of his shirt and angrily shouted “What do you mean tried your best? If you’d tried your best he wouldn’t be dead!”

“Changmin!” Kibum tried to pull Changmin away from the doctor.

“He’s not dead!” the doctor spoke quickly after seeing the menace in Changmin’s eyes.

Yoochun’s eyes widened. His lips mouthed ‘What?’

“We tried our best to save the baby, but we couldn’t. Your spouse is in critical condition, but we expect him to recover with time. He lost a lot of blood, but it was a good thing that the knife missed his heart.”

‘Angel Park Yulim’

“Auntie Ri In has her hands full with her flower shop and her bulging stomach. I’m glad that she and your Uncle Hankyung decided to move back. Your grandfather is as happy as always. Uncle Jae and Uncle Yunho are planning a wedding. It looks like Uncle Changmin and Uncle Kibum might beat them to it though.”

“Are you done boring her? Your tone is so cheesy and fluffy. It’ll creep her out.”

Yoochun turned around to greet the owner of the voice with a grin. “She loves it when I talk to her in my sweet voice.”

“If only you’d talk to me like that. It seems that the longer we’re married, the less romantic you become.”

“That sounds normal.”

Junsu rolled his eyes and turned his attention to the grave. “Hello, Angel.”

In a high-pitch voice, Yoochun said, “Hello, Mommy. I like Daddy’s voice better so move aside.”

Junsu turned his head to glare at Yoochun, who was pretending to look innocent. “I’m not ‘Mommy’ and why the heck are you such a jerk?”

“It takes effort to be a jerk.”

“All you do is pick on me these days!” Junsu pouted.

“You’ve put me through worse. Scared the crap out of me that day when you closed your eyes! I cried a river!” Yoochun paused. “And that doctor! That awful doctor!”

Junsu smiled. “I remember. I’m lucky to have survived.”

“No, I’M lucky that you survived,” Yoochun wrapped an arm around his spouse’s shoulders.

“Too bad Angel…” Junsu looked at the grave sadly.

Yoochun squeezed his shoulder encouragingly. “Don’t be like that. She understands. She’ll want us to be happy…and I’ll bet she wants us to bring siblings for her to meet next time.”

Junsu raised an eyebrow at him. “You’re lame.”

“That takes effort too.”

“Everything ‘takes effort’ for you, doesn’t it?”

Yoochun grinned widely as he moved his arms to wrap around Junsu’s waist. “Everything except loving you. It doesn’t take effort because it’s so natural.”

Junsu tried not to burst into a grin. “Cheesy and greasy. I hate you,” he teased.

Yoochun laughed and laid a quick peck on Junsu’s lips. “Riiiight, I hate you too.”

Author's Note (Please Read):
I ended up writing two endings for this story. One sad, one happy. This is the happy one. I prefer the sad one, which is in the next chapter.

If you really want to read the sad one, then click 'Alt Ending'. I recommend the sad one because I think I did a better job with it. But if you're a 'happy ending' type, then please click 'Comment'. ^___^

I apologize for making this story so long and I understood that you all were sick of the cliffhangers...so I just posted all 8/9 chapters at once. Hope no one minds. It is greatly appreciated if you leave me some feedback about the story in general so I know how to improve in my next story.

Thank you very much for reading, thank you very very very very much for leaving comments.

As always:
SPREAD THE YOOSU LOVE!!!
And ALWAYS SMILE!
Remember, 'HAPPY HAPPY!'
