That is bizzare. I have only had "spontaneous" (as I call them) pumkins (Qld blue + butternut) and zucchini in my garden (http://www.livejournal.com/~themaskedfig/11249.html).

We have spontaneous Pumpkins, potatoes, silverbeet, tomatoes (though they have dissapeard since the first appearence when we moved in) and some sort of stone fruit. (we haven't figured out if it's plum, apricot or netarine yet)

We originally did plant turnips in the veggie patch but they managed to escape and did quite well for themselves.

You know I always thought that my garden was the most blessed garden in the world, due in part to spontaneous food but I have to begrudgingly admit that you beat mine hands down. Spontaneous silverbeet would be nice. I�m hoping for spontaneous Cos lettuce this year since I let five go to seed and when the seed they REALLY seed.
