*spit shines pretty 'I voted' sticker. Without spitting on it, or, you know, rubbing it either.*

:O M'lady is wondrous good with her hands! Do you do party tricks as well? The coin-out-of-ear thing, or kerchiefs-from-the-nose? Encore, oh verily, encore! *applauds*

Hurrah! Congratulations on being a good citizen and all that jazz. :D Although the American voting system still boggles me-for the Land of Ultimate Democracy, it's about the most bureaucratic and impersonal procedure imaginable. But perhaps that's just the foreigner in me. *g*

Well, how else would we do it? I don't know, I've never been to the polls. I voted by absentee. *shrug*

I'm sure if I lived there I would have voted for him, since all of my friends seem to like him, but as it is I have no clue what this is all about. Glad you're happy though, whatever it is.

You know, you're quite possibly one of the sweetest people I've had the pleasure of talking to online. Certainly in the M2I connection. Speaking of which, we need to catch up with each other sometime; there's another bunch of your pictures ready to go. ♥

FOOL, OBAMA IS BRINGING TO LIFE THE OLD ONES FROM THE SUNKEN CITY OF R'LYEH. DIDN'T YOU LISTEN TO THE REPUBLICANS WHILE YOU HAD THE CHANCE?

Lol, actually, that would make a pretty hilarious anti-Obama slogan. And a lot more feasible than some of the other stuff that's been thrown around by now. I'm surprised the Republicans haven't used it already. :D

Honestly, I was hoping for McCain, but oh well. 'S not like I voted anyway.
I'll save my ranting for class breaks.

Nice macro, though

Thanks. Why d'you support McCain though, if you don't want me asking? Most of the people I know are all pro-Obama, so I'd like to hear the other side of the argument for once. :3

the possible 25% military cut could be part of it, Democrats are just generally not supportive of military types. Also a few of Obama's tax and economic fixes just make me a bit nervous. Raising minimum wage does nothing but increase the cost of living, and "spreading the wealth" sounds a little...socialist, to me. But then I don't like the idea of just dumping more money into the economy to fix it either. Then there's the possible banning of assault rifles and sort. I like our right to have guns, and I personally find "containing" what we can have as unconstituational as banning it.
That and I seem to hang around a lot of uber-conservatists these days, so maybe that has influenced me XD

Still, Obama is not Hilary, so there's something good.

Hmm, right, I need to keep in mind the capitalist mindset of America. *g* Israel is a very socialist country, and personally I like it that way-I don't see the appeal of the US's near-total capitalism. Obama's mindset is a bit more socialist, and I approve of that, but I can see why Americans would be put off by his statements.

ARMY BRAT. XD Oh my god, you're just as bad as my brother. (I mean that in a totally affectionate way, though, since I'm going to become one myself soon enough. On the 18th of July 2010, in fact-I just got my enlistment date in the mail yesterday. Hurrah!)
