Anyone attempting to provoke me into rational conversation during the next week and a half will be rudely deflected with a barrage of listed magisterial norms and/or parabolic equations. Yes, it is true: Math and Law tests, in the same week. My mind is eroding faster than you can say 'what-ho', like a particularly shoddy Vesuvius model stuffed with ( Read more... )

It is impossible for me to not admire everything you say and do. What the. ♥

MATH/LAW, THE ANTI-OTP. D: Hopefully, they will get into a huge fight over money (and that brazen hussy, Theatre) and be completely unable to resist a mighty bitch-slapping.

Oh my god, what the, how do you DO this to me every time. I stayed up til 1:00 AM last night to finish it because I have no time, but, uh, lord you pwn me so hard. ♥

"Because," said Law with open contempt, "you know nothing about right and wrong, that's why."

"Is that so?" said Math with an unpleasant sneer, clasping one of his many textbooks to his chest. "Is that so really? Because last time I checked, algebra was the perfect paradigm of definitive principles, while you couldn't even make up your mind about civil marriage."

"Definitive principles, well." Law sniffed. "Axioms are quite amusing, sir, but I am referring to morality. Ethics. With all due respect to the right-angle hypotenuse," and his tone implied no great amount of such, "I, sir, deal with justice"Justice is nothing without mathematical precision and the sort of integrity found purely in numbers," Math said, as if this dismissed Law's argument and settled the matter indubitably. Law snorted ( ... )

"Oh." Law blinked. "My, uh, condolences."

"These things happen," Math shrugged. "At least you know that you possess the originality to begin with. It is a very highly-prized quality in the theoretical mathematics," he added slyly, and Law noticed with sudden affront that he wasn't the only one observing Theatre's shapely couture.

"A very solitary subject," Law interjected loudly, shooting Math a sharp glance, "no collaborative work whatsoever."

"Oh?" Theatre perked up slightly. "You know, after this episode a little solo work seems quite the thing."

"I mean," said Law, "that is it the gathering place for dour misanthropes with no moral compass and a tragically defunct sense of humour. Mathematicians are not charismatic by nature. Quite the opposite. Lawyers, on the other hand ( ... )

Eventually Math coughed. "I don't like the ancient Greeks," he said.

"Oh, mm," said Law. "You know, neither do I very much."

Weren't they like, born in Ancient Greece?

Also, where's the hot porn? I demand to know who tops! :o

Mathematics, possibly, but the Law I study is Jewish Law [technically, the organization which funds everything is 'Youth for Jewish Law', aka traditional Hebrew Law] so it's all Israelite inventions dating back to Biblical times. There are many versions of 'Law' in the world; we settle for learning the Jewish law [Biblical] in contrast with the Israeli law [current] and ogling the similarities.

In any case, they refer to the ancient Grecian literature, which is quite markedly different from both Law and Math and which does warrant a kick in the balls or two, at times. Seriously, Sophocles? Not of their ilk. *g*

Re: porn hot: OMG. I-I don't know. ;_; Clearly this is a logistic dilemma with both mathematical and magisterial ramifications! Most dire.

hmm, I meant more the concept of a law/justice system, but k.

Clearly this is a logistic dilemma with both mathematical and magisterial ramifications! ...does that mean they'd just, you know, roll around?

According to this, they both started around 3000 BC (though the 'Bible Period' lasted five years longer lol), but technically speaking, it's the different between the start of a civilization (Greece) and the start of a documentation (Bible). Ancient Egypt came before Ancient Greece, anyway, and we shared practically all our national history with Egypt; I think we trump the case. *g*

Re: dilemma: This is a not implausible course of action, yes. *srs face*

HELLO I LOVE YOU.

I-I've been out doing my own field studies - for the record, Apocalyptic Science Fiction tops Typography, which tastes like delicious Content/Form to meeeeee - so my unforgiveable absence did, at least, have a purpose.

I kind of want to order you NEVER TO STAY UP LATE EVER AGAIN, OH YOUR BEAUTIFUL SLEEP-DEPRIVED MIND, but I'm greedy and love anthropomorfic so hard. Can't really seem to make myself criticize any single factor that contributed to this. I love you, and one in the morning, and keyboards, and Interwebs, and even exams a little but not really, and mostly you anyway. Agagaga, AMAZING. O:

(There hadn't been a stage there beforehand. But wherever Theatre went, he brought the stage with him, and wherever he entered, he entered stage left.)

FFFFFFFF. ♥♥♥

*In an uncreepy way, of course.

Random comments! Burning passions! I must say, you are quite a master of first impressions. Consider me thoroughly enamoured. *g*

(BTW, how did you come upon this place, if I may ask? I know I linked the thing to anthropomor_fic, but that was related to anomylic, not the home base-though of course, every intrusion is welcome, kekeke. ♥)

Hah! Fear my power to woo!

I came across it by procrastination. I think it all started on kassie_opia's friendspage, and then the magic of "open in another tab" just brought me to this sudden confession of BURNING PASSION!

The same magic has now brought me to watch anthropomor_fic, btw.
Needless to say, my speech on pleasure quarters of feudal Japan isn't really as achieved as I would have wanted it to be. Are you TRYING to keep me from working on serious stuff(tm)?

Ah, the serendipitous voodoo of tab-clicking! :D I like your style. Such good fortune warrants friending, if I may be so bold as to suggest it. ♥ Plus, a querulous foray into your journal suggests that you are of an extremely pure-blooded breed of TOTAL AWESOME. I happen to be a connoisseur.

Are you TRYING to keep me from working on serious stuff(tm)?

Resounding answer: YES.

Oh my, who am I to judge your..well.. judgment. It'd be an extreme honor *curtsies*. (and will make it easier to stalk your own amount of awesome).

Resounding answer: YES.
WELL IT'S WORKING!

Coming back to this comment a million years later, my dear, I can safely say it was the start of a beautiful friendship. ♥ HIHI, YOU WERE SO CUTE BACK THEN. And are still now, of course, if not cuter. Man, I had no chance of even knowing what would hit me, yanno? :D
