when I moved to Florida and got my new driver's license, I registered to vote here. back in Wisconsin, you don't have to pick a party in order to vote in primaries, which I think is pretty excellent, but because Wisconsin and, like, Kentucky or something are the only states that do this, I was apprehensive about registering here. Where in Orlando did you vote? The local polling place here is the UCF arena, which just so happens to be right in front of my apartment building. There's a bunch of helicopters and news crew (I don't watch TV but I'm going to take a wild guess and say they're reporting on 1. how long the lines have been ALL DAY and 2. how young the people in line are) and it's been creating quite a congestion for us residents. Quite frankly, this is the one "arena" event that I honestly do not mind having clogging up my front lawn.

My parents are registered Democrats, but they get way more Republican mailings than anything else. Nobody's been sticking shit in my mailbox, but the Obama supporters have been putting pamphlets on my car and it's pissing me off. I never notice it's there until I'm out of the garage and I hate having to throw that shit away.

I voted faaar away from the UCF campus xD over by Lake Conway, which is south of downtown Orlando and just north of the international airport. the polling was done at a Masonic Lodge over there and it was pretty much vacant when I got there.

but the UCF polls have been getting a LOT of news coverage, you're right. they were headline news on CNN.com in fact because the lines were SO long. I saw helicopter footage of it on the nightly news. xD what a pain in the ass!

Anyway I just got home from errands and I'm so fucking annoyed at my mom and her dumb stupid girlfriend because MOTHER FUCKING DUMB STUPID GIRLFRIEND was bitching and moaning about how she doesn't want Obama to win and how hes a terrorist and OMG HE WENT TO EVIL CHURCH FOR 20 YEARS HE BELIEVES EVERYTHING HIS PASTER (sp) DID AHHggg and then ended up not going to vote because THEY WOULD BE LATE FOR BINGO! WELL GEE GUESS YOU REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT GAY RIGHTS!

hey, so my computer decided to threaten me with blue screens today, so I called tech support for it and they told me to do things to it that resulted in it being completely inoperable 8D I don't have a computer now for like a week and a half. I'm using Dan's dad's for the time being.

reportedly it has AIM on it but I haven't found it yet. so I'll see you soon I hope. :F
