doesn't that feel so misdirected? where we live is supposed to be our cradle. the place we kick our shoes off and breathe peace. of all places, shouldn't we make certain our homes are quality buildings?

the cost of convienence is too high. we (society) work long hours to buy items that are frequently unhealthy for us and are poorly made. then they break, we toss them out, and buy something else poorly made to replace it. and why do we buy them in the first place? we don't have time to make our own products because we're working. that's an absurd cycle that we have to break.

i'm gettin' all preachy. *^_^* it just doesn't make sense to me. we spend so much time and effort in creating a good home. basic things like proper drainage and utilizing solar energy shouldn't be sacrified in the process.
