I got my first jury duty notice a month or so ago, and had to call in last Monday to see if I was needed on Tuesday.

I waited forever to call the number. Thankfully, our pool was dismissed.

Never served. Dread it.

A teller at the bank I go to just served. She spent a week and a half on a rape case. It sounded like a nightmare, to be sure.

That was me, waiting forever to call and then dismissed. Hugely boring!

My nightmare is to get on a murder/rape case. I mean, literally, I would have nightmares the rest of my life. :(

Yes, but not nearly as fun! I mean, I can only imagine snow days as being fun since I never have them. Woeness.

A friend of mine had heat days or something like that. They lived in the desert and they would send all the kids home when it got crazy hot.

I'll take either one, heat, snow, whatev. Anything to go home early!

i don't think pirates go to court. i think they just have public lynchings or firing squads or something. :)

i've never in my life even been called for jury duty. i think i fell into some administrative crack and they haven't found me yet.

of course, now that i said that....
