The last time I was at Hattie and Olivia's house my sister in law asked me if I wanted to hold Hattie, and I looked at her and her teeny tiny body and bobbly head and eyes that barely focus and said "no thank you." I SAID NO!!!! I've never said no, ever, to holding a baby. I'm just not comfortable with them so why should I force myself to hold one?

Lol that's so funny. Don't worry about not being into babies, I know quite a few people who are mums (like my sister) and still not keen on them. Of course they are totally assumed to be okay with it too. I am the complete opposite and love babies, but have to try not to appear too keen (like a sad old lady) when in fact I'm itching to have a cuddle!

I'm not a fan of babies either. Not sure I held my niece more than once, and I know I haven't ever held my nephew. I just don't get the desire to hold and cuddle a baby. I coo and aw over babies that come into the theatre or over students' kids, but to be quite honest, it's all an act. I feel like I'm supposed to do that, so I do.
