Meme: Randomly Picked Questions

Jun 22, 2009 18:01

Sadly, with #1 for me on LJ, all you get is Mia. (And she just took offense to how I worded that.) ;)

1) Pick one or more of my characters, and go here to generate 5 random numbers between 1 and 100. Generate a different set of numbers for each character you pick.

2) I will answer the corresponding questions from here from the point of view of ( Read more... )

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Depends. I usually like to do something with somebody, whether that's going out or staying in, I don't care. But as long as I'm not spending it alone.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
That depends too on the reason for the insomnia. I might do some stretches, exercises, or go for a run or go work out. If bad memories from the war are giving me nightmares, I might go through my inventory of weapons and make sure everything's still there. Makes me feel more secure. Or I might just need a snack and a good movie to fall asleep to.

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
I... have no idea. Important? Not sure. Joining the war effort had the greatest impact, though.

73. What is your favorite food?
OOC: I suck at Star Wars foods so pretend she named something from home. ;)

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.Um. I'm normal everywhere except on Earth, I think. (And elsewhere I'm occasionally a Jedi. Long story. But other than that, normal.) My dad was the biggest influence, as he started me doing gymnastics and then self-defense when I was really young. He wanted me to be prepared for whatever was out there. He shipped cargo and had seen a lot of dangerous stuff. And he also taught me how to fight, how to shoot, all that sort of thing and my interest in weapons grew and he taught me responsibility for all of it and the damage they can cause. I learned how to fly as soon as I could -- he gave me a lot of lessons in different aircrafts. I've loved all of it and never looked back after any of that. My mom supported him in all of this too and she and my cousin ( ... )

Sounds like a good goal to me.

Yeah, I thought so too.

...Do you think it's weird at all that I don't have any real long-term goals? I mean, does that mean I'm messed up or just realistic about the fact that I may not survive that long? Or is that messed up anyway?

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
This depends on a lot of things. But in general, I'm a fan of that treating others as you want to be treated thing. I'm respectful of people unless they give me reason not to be, such as treating me or someone I care about badly, or being dangerous, or unless they just piss me off somehow. I tend to keep strangers at kind of a distance, I think, and let them know more about me as time goes on, but sometimes I even keep some people I'm pretty close to at a distance. It's about how much I feel comfortable and with what at the time or how much I feel I can trust them. I'd like to think I'm also pretty bluntly honest whether it's with strangers or people I know and I don't sugarcoat stuff. But sometimes I might back off that a little if there's someone I know pretty good and I know there's a topic that bothers them. ...Wow, that got long.

Should I be worried that most of your peeves deal with men? I'm not going to be finding myself in trouble in the future, am I?

Those pet peeves are the ones that came to mind first. I'm sure there's a few more I missed. Yeah, like people who think they're better than others. That's a big one.

You shouldn't be finding yourself in any trouble unless you do any of those things. ;)

(Did it mean to give you 92 twice? Weird. You wanna pick another number?)

I guess if every number has the same chance of being picked, 92 just came up twice. You can replace one of them with 91.

74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
I'm not big on books or the huge novels, though if I am reading a book, it's likely to be some action/suspense/mystery thing. Maybe a romance novel now and then. I like magazines, especially the women's ones. I like being fashionable, plus it gives me good insight into what the typical Terran woman is supposed to be like. ;)

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
... No idea. And I've done some pretty amazing things, even by my galaxy's standards, if I do say so. ;)

(*facepalms* I'm sorry, her ego is showing. Lol.)

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)It's just how I grew up. I enjoy the nomadic life and travelling a lot. My dad started the whole thing with quietly defying the government and avoiding their stupid and illegal blockades and things just sort of grew from ( ... )
