hi! thanks for visiting my site. the tourist visa fee i think depends on the travel agency you applied with, since one can't directly apply at the embassy anymore. we paid 2800php each coz we applied from the province, which included courier services. about the plane fare, i suggest you check ceb pac's mnla-osaka rates if you are coming from manila, they are dirt cheap compared to other airlines (if you can stand cramped legroom, no frills, no entertainment for 4 hours! ) from osaka you may visit kyoto which is just minutes by train and himeji, which is about an hour. then just take the shinkansen to tokyo or fly to haneda airport. i hope this info will help you in anyway. and thank you for complimenting on my style :)
