Never read CB and MI: 13 but this was pretty hot. Dunno who you are but your profile says you've been here before so welcome back! Looking forward for more fics.
Thanks for commenting. I whole heartedly agree on the Brian/Pete. Have you read the Captain Britain Twitter that Paul Cornell did for a while? There are slashy overtones to almost every mention of Pete on there!
He's stopped writing now. but it's still up. Basically, the best parts are:
We have a routine now: yours truly goes in first. Pete always gives me a little pep talk first, just to make sure my confidence is up...which kind of annoys me, to be honest, though I know he means well. I wonder if that's what he's after? I feel I could do that myself.
Pete took me to Hungerford, showed me where his Mum lived. Quiet town, place one passes through. He was very quiet, unsurprisingly.
What Pete and I have in common is: we've lost people while not being able to lose hope. It's a terrible thing. The grief will never start.
I have no idea who these people are but the idea is haaaawt! Hope to be seeing moar of dis young lady.
(and feel free to cross pollenate to the fudgeyplace, it's pretty much a free for all in there. Hell, up to now it's had pundits,ER,torchood and RugbySoaps!)
excellent work Cariad, will have a look on the link and i definitely need to do a comic lend, just cause i don't feel i'm nerdy enough yet. Needs more comics. And cowbell.
Def. post to the Fudgeyplace, literally any fandom goes. and hopefully Pobol Y Scrum will become worth reading at some point, i.e when i stop being stuck. Annoyingly, when it was ramdon chunks of thread that started accidentally in Manpilez it was HILARIOUS
There should be more. This was kind of an experiment to see if I could get into the pairing. I'm not quite fully reconciled with Brian's character yet, so anything more will definitely be from Wisdom's POV. Watch this space!

I'm very new to the fandom, been active on LJ before in other fandoms under a different name.
Thanks for commenting - very much appreciated and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Did Pete drink *all* my whiskey? ;)

I shall have to lend you some comics, I think. In the meantime, ailette did this very helpful intro post to the characters and pairing.
I shall x-post to Fudge at your behest.
