Annette knocked on the door, so wanting to be any other place but here. She fixed a bright smile on her face, okay she tried to fix a bright smile on her face. It wasn't freaking working.

She took that chair quickly too; sitting was the best option, she could sit there and just stare down at her hands. And smile at her pretty pink fingernail polish.
M gave Annette a few minutes to just sit, since she generally found that created a useful sense of discomfort in the other person. Then she fixed Annette with a stern glare.

Ohhhhhhhhh boy. Somehow Anders had a feeling that a 'Sorry Anders couldn't come to class, he was too busy snuggling' note from the boyfriend wouldn't cut it anyway.

M looked up from her desk, giving Anders a look that suggested any excuse short of 'please excuse Anders from missing class, he was dead' was not going to cut it.
