M's Office Hours, Thursday (04/12)

The end of the semester was creeping closer, and M found herself busy with preparing the final exam for her class and catching up on agency business. She'd already started taking up the reins again, and was in fact at that moment on her phone and busily typing at her laptop, discussing the activities of a suspected weapons dealer with her assistant

Billy knocked on M's door. He'd missed the last week or so. Hopefully she wouldn't shoot him.

"I think Professor Deadpool might be a good choice for that as well."

M thought about her encounter with Deadpool, and very nearly cracked a smile. "You know, I may keep that in mind, for the ones who really get out of line. I've got one in particular who's going to put me in an early grave."

She cocked her head at Billy. "Any other questions?"

"That one actually covered most of it." he said. "If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to let you know."

"In that case, you can give me a report on what you've been up to lately. Classes are going well, I assume? Attending your club meetings?"

[l1ttle_billy]

"Classes are going well." he nodded. "I find I'm enjoying Professor Abby's Forensics class especially. Club meetings seem a bit sporadic, but when they happen I go. Chess club's been the most consistent."

M nodded. "Have you decided what you'll do over the summer? You will be continuing on here next year, I assume."

[l1ttle_billy]

"That's the plan yes." he said. "I think I'll stay for the summer session. I'm rather enjoying my stay here." That and he didn't care to step foot into his own world very much.

"Good," M replied. "I expect you'll put the same level of work into your summer classes as you have up to this point."

It wasn't a question so much as it was a very strong suggestion.

"Do you have any concerns you want to address? Anything that's happened that bothers you?"

"I don't suppose you know of ways to protect someone from being possesed?"

[mi6_m]

M's eyebrows went up.

"Not usually something we deal with in my line of business, Kessler. Frankly, I'm not certain I believe in possession. But I suppose the church might be a place to start."

[l1ttle_billy]

"I'll do that. In your world maybe possesion doesn't exist. Pretty sure it doesn't in mine either. But one of my fellow students was possesed last week and it caused her, and many of the students a great deal of grief."

M tried to keep an ear out for what was happening, and although no one had spoken directly to her about the possessions, she had heard some talk.

"From what I understand, there are better sources for that kind of help than me. But I appreciate that you asked me about it. Isn't there a religions class of some kind here?"

[l1ttle_billy]

"Well Ares teaches a class about Pagan Gods, but he hasn't been around much lately. Plus I don't know if the God of War would be all that helpful."

Uh huh. As if M believed there was actually a God of War teaching at the school. A psychopath who thought he was the God of War, on the other hand, was completely believable.

"No, you're right, he doesn't sound as though he'd be much help. Well then, Kessler, my next suggestion is going to be to work it out yourself. Do some research, talk to people who've experienced it, and see what you can come up with."

Billy expected he'd be coming late to that game, but she was right. "I'll do that, thank you."
