Is your issue with the cause of the fight or the physical act?

The cause of the fight. It's a verbal fight and getting Micah snarky is hard.

*le sigh*

But isn't he halfway there already, with the way he is treating Nathaniel? He's a lit fuse, knowing that Anita is hurting and nothing he tries is helping. To quote Danny Phantom, 'hello misplaced anger' All it would take is one assholish comment from Richard, I think, t set Micah off. And what does Richard do best when it comes to Anita? Got it in one!

I totally agree with you. It's just picking the right words for this is hard. I think part of it is that Richard and Micah have only ever shared about half a page of ink-time, total.

I just want to have them throw themselves at each other and declare their undying gay love for each other and be done with it.

*snicker* Please do. They'll make such a cute, furry couple.

That would be amusing. The thing is... strangely enough... I think they would actually be a better couple than Richard and Anita are/were. I'm not sure about Anita and Micah, because they seem too perfect, and she's wary of that, herself.

Still. Considering Richard's homophobia, it would be rather ironic. And amusing. But Micah's too much of a sweetie to make it anything other than an "aww" moment.

::bats eyelashes hopefully at the prospect of more 'Candlelight'::

I like fight scenes. They're mucho fun to write. Feel free to toss whatever you've got written of 'Inevitable' my way.

And didja happen to get a chance to look at my 'Consequences' blurb?

Isn't EVERY scene with Richard a fight scene? He is pretty much pure hostility, these days. Seriously, though, I guess that their beasts would have to get involved. I have this image in my head of a spirit-wolf and spirit-cat being herded into separate corners by Harry's Patronus. :-)
