Sorry, that original comment just burst forth before I could stop myself.

What they did to JJ makes me cry but I will admit that I love how they wrote her off. And plus it lead to this which is amazing. I love the idea of JJ working for HWS. This like leads to all sorts of epic potential crossovers.

Hee, thanks :)

When I heard that DoD line, I was all like "Finally, a way to write a crossover between SG-1 and Criminal Minds!" True, it came about in a sucky way, but it made total sense.

(Maybe it should worry me that I think in crossover terms by default)

That's alright. Most of my thought process consists of "What if that character was really this person, or reborn from that one." I'm obsessed with crossovers.

Totally awesome fic btw. Need to go find this show on fancast, my tivo died.

I cannot express how much I love this. I love the behind the scenes reason for JJ's immediate and abrupt transfer, I love Jack's logic for choosing JJ, and I love JJ's musings on how the team would react. Such a brilliant idea.

Of course, now I want lots and lots of fics of JJ being awesome and competent in the SG-1/SGA 'verse.

I enjoyed this so very much, thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you like it! I wanted to "fix" what happened to JJ, and what better way to do that than through fanfic?

And you know JJ would totally rock the Stargate program :D

Wonderful summation of what J.J. did on the radio to the serial killer: "I need someone who can tell people the truth, can understand why they're angry or scared, and get them to accept what's really happening."

This is such a Jack way of explaining all the fighting: "Look, it totally wasn't our fault. Ask Teal'c, he'll tell you."

JJ's role in the BAU was very underplayed over the years, I thought, but in a good way. Having someone who could be the betwixt-between with the victims' families would be such a difficult role, esp since I can't ever recall JJ actually lying about the facts.

as for Jack, I couldn't think of another way for him to explain the mess of the Goa'uld and the Ori and the rest. Yeah, totally wasn't our fault. Ask the other guy :D

Thanks very much for taking the chance on the story w/o knowing the fandom! :D
