Still loving this story; I'm really fond of your characterization of John, imperfect as he is.

Favorite moment in this chapter for me was the last scene; especially the storm imagery, and the last line. Of course, that's probably because of the associations with the end of "Serenity", but. =)

Thanks! Writing John is always a challenge, but enjoyable, especially when he's being dense.

The imagery available in this story is just lovely to work with; the light in the city, the city itself... it's a great backdrop to any story :)
