I loved this one. We got Lorelai and Rodney wondering if John's flirting with his kid. And Christmas in Atlantis.
And my favorite line:
John Sheppard might not, but then Rodney knew better than to use John Sheppard as his gauge of normal social interaction.

And Rodney's conviction that John would *never* flit with Rory because that would be wrong. Oh, Rodney.

I know this because I wrote both chapter 18 and chapter 19 before chapter 17, because I have *issues*. Those chapters should come out next week or the week after, when I take the grammar hammer to them

And yay for a Luke and Lorelai part!
I can't wait to see what happens next! And with Lorelai getting cozy with Luke, how will she react when Rodney shows up. :D

I'm a firm believer that Luke and Lorelai would have ended back up together if the show had kept going. And since it's my fanfic, etc.
how will she react when Rodney shows up
oh, it'll be epic.

So I love the Rory/Rodney bonding - they definitely needed some, and it was awesome to see her open up to him - especially about her mother. I also love the John show, because seriously? Drunk John is very funny.
More than that, I like the last part, with Lorelai and her knowing something is wrong, but not knowing what it is.

We also needed to see Lorelai, as she's been given sadly short shrift in this story (bad author). The fact that Rory's not talking is hurting more than anything else that might happen between those two.

the mess between Lorelai and Rory will get solved. One day. Maybe not soon.
