I really should be studying right now. Why did you have to post this?!

Now for the truly hard question, study or read new chapter?

More Physics of the Spin!!!

I loved this one. We got Lorelai and Rodney wondering if John's flirting with his kid. And Christmas in Atlantis.

And my favorite line:

John Sheppard might not, but then Rodney knew better than to use John Sheppard as his gauge of normal social interaction.

This was more of a segue chapter, in which we deal with lingering issues and introduce the hints of future conflict. Plus we really needed to see Lorelai's side of things.

And Rodney's conviction that John would *never* flit with Rory because that would be wrong. Oh, Rodney.

It seems both John and Rodney are in a state of denial about it. Makes you wonder what Rory is noticing:)

That's in... *checks* chapter 19. The next chapter is Jeannie finding out.

I know this because I wrote both chapter 18 and chapter 19 before chapter 17, because I have *issues*. Those chapters should come out next week or the week after, when I take the grammar hammer to them

Whoo-hoo! Another part is up! I love the Rodney and Rory interaction and then Rodney getting suspcious of John and Rory. Hee!

And yay for a Luke and Lorelai part!

I can't wait to see what happens next! And with Lorelai getting cozy with Luke, how will she react when Rodney shows up. :D

Not only Rodney being suspicious of John and Rory, but then leaning back and thinking that John would never do that to mu kid. Yeah, that's going to end badly.

I'm a firm believer that Luke and Lorelai would have ended back up together if the show had kept going. And since it's my fanfic, etc.

how will she react when Rodney shows up

oh, it'll be epic.

Oh fun!
So I love the Rory/Rodney bonding - they definitely needed some, and it was awesome to see her open up to him - especially about her mother. I also love the John show, because seriously? Drunk John is very funny.
More than that, I like the last part, with Lorelai and her knowing something is wrong, but not knowing what it is.

I wanted to have us see how Rodney is settling into fatherhood before we launch him wholeheartedly into the next little crisis. Nothing on Atlantis is ever dull.

We also needed to see Lorelai, as she's been given sadly short shrift in this story (bad author). The fact that Rory's not talking is hurting more than anything else that might happen between those two.

I will giggle insanly if you hook John up with Rory. In a good way. In an OMG WTF OMG WIN! way. *cheers* for Rory Rodney bonding time :D Poor Lorelai I hope everything gets straighten out between her and Rory smoothly.

It'd certainly be *strange* to see John and Rory together. Do I do strange? I'll let the readership decide. (On if I'm strange, not the story pairings)

the mess between Lorelai and Rory will get solved. One day. Maybe not soon.
