I'm too lazy to log in right now. I was on my way to bed actually but then I noticed you had updated. So I had to read it and comment. I love this story even while there may not be answers for everything making it feel finished and not at the same time. Still I love it and thought you executed the idea of Joan/John brilliantly. I'd love to read more set in this universe. I think this could be the start of a brilliant series.

Thanks! It's interesting, how not having all the answers laid out can leave one feeling a little "huh?" at the end.

We'll see if I come back to this - there certainly enough material to keep a writer going for a while!

So Mckay ends up with the best of both worlds eh? *wink*

I loved it!!!! :D...I really love how you write Rodney. His character is the one I find the hardest to buy when reading fanfiction...but you write him so well, he's just like I picture him in the show :)

The nest question is...when are you going to update your Gilmore Girls/Stargate crossover :( I miss it!

Hee. Yes, Rodney can pretty much count this one as a win ;)

McKay background: before writing the most recent chapter of Physics of the Spin (McKay pov) I spent a lot of time concentrating on Rodney as a character, to work on his voice. Once you can get that he's a good guy, just a little... awkward, it's easier to get his voice. True, I may rely more on fanon!McKay than show!McKay (and listening to D.Hewlett ramble - the man cracks me up) but it seems to fit.

And yes, Physics of the Spin is coming up soon - I have vacation in a week and i look forward to writing then!

I absolutely adore all the exploration in this fic! Love it! And quite frankly, I'm very relieved for the happy ending. Sometimes I just need them, you know?

And I think that I was actually expecting it to be resolved the way Rodney thought it would, with John being him full-time, but it's so, far and away, better this way.

Thank you! I started this story planning for a happy ending; and the plot sort of wandered. But Joan/John gets his sister back, and s/he gets Rodney in some form or another, and things might be okay after all.

The easy way to end this story would have been to have John as John, with Rosemary tossed into the mix, but that wasn't nearly complicated enough :) Rodney needs a little more chaos in his life.

Fantastic. You really showed me that a genderswap fic can be awesome... thank you :D

I'm glad you enjoyed the story! I'm not usually one for gender-swap, but it's a fascinating concept to explore :)

My god, your mind, it is such a delightfully twisty and fascinating place. \o/

Also, "But in the interests of full disclosure, I'm not sure when things might, you know. Change."
