I'm O SO CLOSE to being done the next chapter of Dawning Light - the only hold-ups are Anita (she's not behaving in the way I want so I need to do a bit of re-writes on her reactions to the five-year-old) and my time this week being all booked up. But I'm SO CLOSE. I am really looking forward to that.

I still can't believe the 80s went through a nostalgia phase (or still might be). I think the only consolidation is that the people wearing those clothes didn't live through it the first time.

Second: Remember "Flock of Seagulls"?, now there was a horrible video! Or the video for "Ghostbusters"? What about "Loverboy"?
But my candidate for worst music video ever? The one that started it all; "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles, it has all the hallmarks of cheesy 80's videos. Bad hair, bad glasses, lousy special effects, pretty incomprehensible, and the song will stick in your head for days.
