Oh the angst! I hope Rodney adjust and be more civil soon. I'm looking forward to Rory meeting Zelenka. Fantastic chapter, I was so happy to see more of this story on my flist today :)

We have tonnes of chapters for McKay to get with the programme... but you can't really blame him for freaking out. He finds out he has a kid and that everyone (well, Sam and Sheppard, which is like everyone) already knew about it. Not a good day for Rodney.

Or Rory, but she'd just being hit on all sides too.

And the dynamic between John and Rodney at the end there, just wow! I can't wait to see the next part!

I'm glad you liked it :) It was really good to get back to this story.

I couldn't help myself with the Lord of the Flies thing. It's the sort of crazy thing Sheppard would talk about.

The end dynamic was the hardest thing to work out for this chapter. Because it's not like John lied about anything, he just put it out of his mind. Sort of. Other stuff just... came up. But we'll get to that with these two.

Dude Rodney's always fine after he's had some time. But poor John everyones mad at him and he luvs Rodney. Its heart breaking for him.
