Who was Romana III? Cause I only remember Romana I and Romana II from the old old old Doctor Who series.

Romana III appeared in the books, never on-screen, but it was told that she regenerated to be more of a hardass, and she became the president of the Time Lords and took them into the Time War. RTD says so himself.

ahhhh explains a lot. As I've never read the books her being in the books would explain my lack of knowledge of her.

She'll be dissapointed if Donna isn't revealed to be Romana III? I'll go on a psychotic rampage if she is!

The world just can't win... luckily I'm pretty sure that there'll be no call for me to take up arms.
