Not really a Dr. Who fan, but I love Tin Man, and Az fic is always welcome. You've done great justice to her character, uncomfortable as her fate may be. I find I love the idea of her gallavanting off with the Doctor, waiting to come back some day.

Az fic is the best kind :) But seriously. I can't see the ending of Tin Man being just left at that, a crazy witch* who's been torturing people for years, just left to wander the palace. Especially with the Queen being out of commission for a while, people would have gotten up and organized on their own.

And who's better at swooping in at the very last minute than the Doctor?

I just wanted to give Az a fair shake :)

Of all the Tin Man characters, Az is the one who deserves some crossover fun!

That's what I thought :) I thought that after her stolen childhood, Az might enjoy leaving the OZ for a while. See the universe, etc.

Thanks :) I'm not sure if I'll get to more of this particular pairing (I wanted to see if I could get the Doctor hooked up with new companions (in that non-hook-up sort of way). It's my first time writing Dr. Who, and Azkadelia fit so well into the 'verse... I couldn't resist.

Beautiful. And wonderful. ^_^ I really do need to watch Dr. Who, it just seems like such a charming show. Especially with how you write the doctor.

Dr. Who is great. It's ridiculous and low-budget in places, but it's all manner of delicious acting with comedy and b-movie screaming and good moral tales. I dig it so.

Glad you liked it! I haven't been writing in Tin Man in a while... it's a fun fandom to come back to, I'll admit :)

I had to make up a little backstory on this one, to make sure things fit in the 'present' time, and I thought it would be fun for the Doctor to have a little fun with the Queen. You know, to end up getting tossed out of the land ;) And Az needs a little fun. She's had such a rough ride.

Those two together would be fun. I do love crossovers.
