Oh, ouch, a comprehensive McKay put-down through email. Seeing Rory pull herself together and come back stronger was very gratifying. And now it's on! I'm betting the McKay+Gilmore brain is more determined than either alone. :D

"Rodney McKay is the new Paris," Rory said suddenly.

If Rodney can continually chew out Zelenka and his team on Atlantis, I can't see him having any qualms about dressing down some kid back on earth. And oh, it'll be fun when he figures it out.

And yeah, the combined Gilmore and McKay brains will be awesome. Add a Miller into the mix and they could take over the world :)

yup :) Rory has finally gotten it through that thick skull of hers that a) she's smart and b) while she does need to keep proving herself, it's her math that needs proving and not her as a human bean.

And Rory does rock :) Writing this story has reintroduced me to the love of the first few seasons of Gilmore Girls.

Rodney *is* the new Paris. He's gonna make Rory work even harder so she can slap him down. In a polite dignified manner, of course :D

Oh, Rodney and Paris should meet. The world would implode upon itself.

See you've captured exactly why I've always found McKay a very unlikeable character! I've never understood the attraction a lot of people seem to have for him.

Which is NOT, by the way, having anything to do with the fact that I'm still enjoying this immensely! :-)

McKay can be a real ass, but he can also be... um, tolerable (I'm not the best sell on him in words). He's the extreme of everything, really. No internal "stop" mechanism on those words. But hey, with an ego that size...

Oh yes, having Rory around is going to certainly be a challenge for him :)
