That was amazing! I love the smoke series and this so perfectly captured them. I really hope you continue this. I want to see Harry react to their crazy lives!

It's funny that when you think about things, that Harry is the one with the less interesting life at that point.

I'm glad the Smoke flavour came across in part -- it's hard to keep the snarkitude without descending into pure comedy. What's a wizarding comedy? Womedy? Sounds weird.

And now I have the impetus to begin reading yet another series. Great short!

Do it! Its pretty independent of the original series (Blood Ties, which I don't think are as good as the Smoke series) and is well worth your time. Its funny and smart and geeky all rolled into one.

Seconded! There are only three books out right now but they are an amazing series with lots of growth and action and snark and all that lovely stuff. Plus the author (andpuff) is amazing

I haven't read the Blood or Smoke series, but I have read the Summoner series. Huff's work is a fun read. Now that you've introduced me to the characters, I think I might be picking up a few more books to add to my growing collection. (It's funny; normally I have a lack of books that I haven't read before, but this month there has been little time to read and a lot of books that I have purchased.)

What are the titles of the two series, in chronological order?

if you can only manage one series, i recommend the smoke books. i personally find them more entertaining and the cast of characters more engaging, but that's just me. they're both very good and well worth the read.

you. are. my. HERO!

I've died, like, a thousand times craving more of the smoke books and my heart breaks when it seems hopeless there will be anymore. it's the only series i can read page one to the end and then go back to the first book and start all over again immediately. i heart you like whoa. i might actually have to write them, just because i miss them, but like you memtioned, they don't leave much unanswered. it's the only series that i haven't daydreamed about because what's left to say?

It might be hard to walk like that :P

And I swear, how many green-eyed men have I crossed-over into Harry Potter's relations? Am I missing anyone? Damian in AB, Lee in Smoke... anyone else?
