Oh, AMAZING CHAPTER!!!

Poor Anita...

I can see why you called it such a controversial chapter now...

But still, It works very well here.

Except for the whole maybe pregnancy thing. That's kinda not cool. Alejandro's an ass.

Don't worry. I can say, without giving anything away, that Anita's not pregnant. Alejandro's really old, so there is a very thin chance in any event. That's not where this is going.

That was an awesome chapter. I was so hoping that Anita would break down and tell Jean-Claude the truth. I'm just sorry that it took this to convince her.

I cleared my throat. "So if I want to break stuff in your office..."
"Then that is what we will do," he said.
I looked at him. "What if I ask you not to leave me?"
Jean-Claude looked back at me. "Then I will not leave your side."

Ok, got teary there.

So, did Alejandro give her the first mark as well?

Strangely, after I decided to write this story, based on CotD, this is the first thing that occured to me to change. Considering the world that JC inhabits, I find it stranger that this hadn't at least been discussed at some point. Anyway.

The discussion of the first mark, and all subsequent marks (and triumverates, and wereleopards, and all manner of things) will be in the next chapter, as fall-out continues.

That is a good question. It's all dependant on what he knows, what Anita tells him, what he believes, and all sorts of things. Layers of complications.

The truth just might work. I have a feeling that Edward will gladly work with JC if it means taking out the creep that mistreated Edward's favorite student.
