Guh. Beautiful and sad- a wonderful look into River's world. She would have made a wonderful Slayer.

Thanks. Truth be told, I wasn't intending on killing of the Slayer when I sat down to write this, but my characters had different ideas.

I just find River so facinating to write. Like Dru and Faith and Dawn all mixed into one brittle tragedy.

Ooh! I hadn't expected a follow-up to Dance, but this is wonderful, especially the way you write River (as I'm sure I mentioned for Different Eyes). She's a bit saner now, but not by much.

Is your tth100 thing to write 100 crossovers with Dawn? If so, do you have any more ideas knocking about in your head for this particular storyline?

After the events of Serenity, I think River will tend to be a little saner.

My tth100 crossovers are indeed about Dawn. There are a few more ideas around for this line of stories... like what will happen when Dawn wakes up *eg*

*steeples fingers* Eeeexcellent!

The Potterpuff is too cute. Can't. Sentence. Properly.

*stares at icon, tries not to think of inappropriate "sucking" jokes*

I had to grab these for Inevitable iconage. Guess what Harry's going to be for Halloween?

River's amazing. Everyone thinks that Simon's the strong one.

They're both strong in their own ways. Simon gave up everything for family, while River clawed her way back to sanity (or something like it) to save Simon in Serenity.

The best part of that movie (and the show), to me, is the development of the relationship between Simon and River. I have much love for Joss Whedon's brain, when he included the Operative's line about love in the beginning of the movie.
