Oh, I really like this one. A story's a good one if it leaves them wanting more and wondering what happened; this little snippet's so full that it seems like it could be the prologue for an epic tale of some sort. (Not asking for one, I know better. ;) )

I like it. Dawn "protests too much" that she doesn't remember Buffy well, I think, because I hear such echoes of soul-tired Buffy in Dawn's voice here. Sweet.
