Tom fell off the ladder today and I had to call 911. It appears he fell from about 10-12 feet and landed on his head or shoulders because there is a fracture in a bone in his neck. The doctor said to fracture that take a lot of force. All is functional, so no spine injury. They took him to CMH in Astoria and then was transported to OSHU in Portland

He writes so often about his balance issues. I am distressed to hear that he fell and is injured! I am also relieved you were near by when it happened and could get him to medical care. Please keep us updated! Thanks, Morgan!

Hang in there. I know from personal experience this past year how nerve racking it is looking after someone you love with that kind of injury. You will probably worry more than he will. Taking collar off and putting it back on feels like their life in your hands.
