The Sorrow: your tour guide to the semi-afterlife.
Well, nothing ever ends completely happily. But "rocks fall, everyone dies" tends to ring a bit false, too. In any case, we've got a ways to go yet. A couple more sub-sections of plot to denoue. Turns out that once I get started, I just keep going =)
*cough* OK, I'm good now. Ahem. Schweee! I love. I find it funny how The Sorrow and Ocelot act...does The Sorrow know about the father thing? :3
Also, Ocelot and Otacon are such an utterly adorable couple. I'm fairly sure only you could do this and make it work this well. I hope they have a happy ending...at least as close to a happy ending as it can get, anyway.
I'm guessing that Ocelot's parentage is well known to both Joy and Sorrow, though likely not to the kid himself. The Sorrow gets access to lots of floaty-guy-beyond-the-grave classified info, and, even just going by ingame information, if the rumor that Ocelot is the son of a "famous hero" with a "snake-shaped scar" is widespread enough that Snake gets told it, I'd figure that The Boss heard it and made the connection.
Funny how? I admit to not having much of a handle on The Sorrow. The idea is that he's got the job of playing Virgil to Ocelot's Dante, whatever the other ties between them. We already know he's the type to put duty above personal considerations, heh.
Anyway, thank you! I'm getting very attached to this pairing myself XD
