A rather random question, but do you think Ocelot was a communist? I'm sure I've heard this asked somewhere else. XD Just wonderin' though, ya know?

No, he's a Hare Krishna devotee. He hides his robes under the uniform.

DID SOMEBODY SAY KHRUSCHEV? _dahne_ September 12 2005, 01:58:06 UTC
Well, Communist as in living in the communist nation, yeah. As in believing in the idealogy...for some reason, I can't see Ocelot believing in much of anything. (Except Big Boss. Heheh.)

Halo Scmalo, we've got a cameo by Nikita Kruschev.

Yeah, I think Ocelot is only truly loyal to the Patriots.

Hell, I wouldn't even put money on that much.

...with the Patriots being a small oligarchy controlling a large group of people. I'd say he's definitely a socialist, but I wouldn't commit him to a single party.

I can't see Ocelot believing in much of anything aside from himself. He'll certainly conform to whatever country he's in, but I think he only has faith in himself. He has too much to risk in really believing in anything like that, and to be honest, I get the feel that he just doesn't care enough to. He's an existentialist, (omfgz, not a politcal party, I know) if anything; he has much belief in himself, that is certain.
And his undying love for Big Boss. TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES.

People.

We have to admit, though. He would have HAD to look totally freaking adorable in a Pioneer's outfit. (Like a Communist version of the Boy/Girl Scouts.)

... can someone say mindless shota? >_O

Personally, I'd say he's self-reliant when it comes to "beliefs"... Believes and trusts only in himself. Everyone else is a potential enemy or pawn.

And nanakibh... is that Cid/Vincent, or Jack/Ocelot in your avvy? Hard to tell.

Without question however, my two favorite remarks here so far are " Penist " and dahne's comment about "he'll betray himself out of sheer habit".
