happy new year?

I guess happy new year is what I should say, it's what everyone else does. Do most people really care that it's a new year, or do people just get excited to go out and drink? I dunno, 2006 is starting very indifferently. I opened and closed the store alone today becuase we were open 10-6. It was alright. I started my new year off with a bang by

don't worry about it. I was up to my knees in drunk idiots on New Years Eve, making sandwiches until 4 in the morning. Working last night, I got into an uncountable amount of verbal arquements with customers, and witnessed my manager drunkenly beat the shit out of a group of 15 year old assholes. Today, I spent my New Years Day working from 11-6. I am very tired now, and can't wait to explode with sadness goo.

I don't think anyone really cares its a new year. Well, maybe some people do, but no one I know. I managed to get pulled over for the on this first day of the year(but I didn't get a ticket). I get the feeling it will be just like every other year, everything will just be mediocre.
