I believe that he is holding Val. Jason was adopted and the little guy in the video looks like a carbon copy of DMc, especially later on in the video when the little boy is not being held (1:43 into the video).

Was the woman Katherine? Too tall to be Jill.

Don't think so. At Channel M, they were pointing out that Jill likely was the woman in the bright yellow jacket.
