OK, I TOTALLY want to see this fleshed out (sorry, seriously no pun intended) as a series of stories. Wow. I was not expecting it to go in this direction and I freakin' LOVE it. Poor Napoleon!
I love how he's (naturally) upset and angry about this. Imagine dealing with that! How would he come to terms (if he ever can) with being, basically, a monster?
The scenes in the graveyard and the catacombs with the caretaker are deliciously creepy , but the sudden twist into a story that's completely unexpected is amazing. Really entertaining and thought provoking. I've never been so happy to be led astray :)
Thank you very much! I am very glad I was able to lead you astray:)
I got the idea right from the start and was worried it would be too outrageous a thing to do to Napoleon. But what the heck... it's Halloween! Then I re-wrote it to conceal what really happened until the end, so the reader was as surprised and Napoleon was. I'm glad that worked.

The prompt is actually one of my 'door' painting and your story is so much better than I could have hoped for.
Happy Halloween! And thank you again!

As for a series of storied, who knows?
As long as there's something left of Napoleon to gnaw on, anything's possible:D
